And the Race Begins...

Tonight was the start of a long road to come. It was the opening debate of the presidential campaign season for the 2012 election. Since the Democratic candidate is clearly Mr. President Obama, the only debate lies within the Republican party themselves. They must decide who they are to send to run against Obama, and trust me, they have plenty of choices.
The convention was held in Manchester, NH, at Saint Anslem's College. The candidates were Santorum (?), Gingrich, P-something (?), Bachmann, Romney, Paul, ____, and Cain. My personal three favorites were Bachmann, Romney, and Cain. The only name I had really heard of was Romney. He just has such a great air about him. He looks and speaks like a president and has the face of a man you want to trust with all of your heart. Bachmann was a surprise to me. (She announced her presidential running at the convention.) I had never heard her speak before, but I was pleasantly surprised. While I did not necessarily agree with every single one of her ideas, every single word that came out of her mouth sounded intelligent. I will enjoy watching the left wingers try to call her stupid now!
